Vice President
Kristie Young brings over 25 years of professional experience across a wide range of sectors in Southeast Texas, including economic development, oil and gas, nonprofit management, healthcare, and higher education. Most recently, she served as President of KMY Consulting, where she specialized in economic and workforce development, public and government affairs, and grant writing services.
Kristie has played a key role in attracting major industrial projects to Southeast Texas, contributing millions to the local economy. She has worked closely with oil and gas companies to launch local business initiatives, connecting area firms with contracting opportunities on large-scale construction projects. Additionally, she has organized numerous industrial and vendor fairs that link local businesses and job seekers with meaningful opportunities.
One of Kristie’s proudest achievements was establishing a foundation at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, where she continues to serve on the advisory board. Her civic and community leadership includes serving on the boards of the Rotary Club of Beaumont, Junior League of Beaumont, Press Club of Southeast Texas, Beaumont Children's Museum, and the Workforce Solutions Southeast Texas Workforce Board. A proud graduate of Texas A&M University, Kristie is an Aggie Women board president emerita and a past member of the Communications Department advisory board.
Her work has been recognized with awards from organizations such as Pioneering Women, Junior League of Beaumont, the Beaumont Junior Forum and the Better Business Bureau in Southea. Kristie resides in Beaumont, Texas, and is the proud mother of two sons, Haden and Bryce.
